Who operates HobbyTrack

HobbyTrack is developed and operated by the HobbyTrack team. If you have questions about this policy or your information, see Contact below.

Scope

This policy covers the HobbyTrack web app, our public pages, account features, practice tracking, coaching features, and support requests.

Data categories

HobbyTrack collects and processes information such as your account details, profile information, practice data — your hobbies, sessions, goals, notes, reflections, and progress — AI-generated guidance, and plan status. Some information, such as local app settings, stays only on your device.

Account and authentication data

You can sign in with email and password. Signing in with Google or Apple is not currently available to the public.

Hobby, session, goal, reflection, and progress data

You create your practice data as you use HobbyTrack: hobbies, sessions, focus areas, goals, next steps, notes, energy levels, and progress history. We use it to show your dashboard and keep your practice organized.

AI coach and generated guidance data

HobbyTrack can generate AI coaching guidance based on your practice data and current progress.

AI limits

Generated guidance may be inaccurate and should not be treated as medical, legal, financial, fitness, or other professional advice.

Technical, security, rate-limit, and diagnostic data

HobbyTrack processes technical information — such as request details, error information, and security records — needed to run and protect the service. This includes basic analytics, provided by Cloudflare, that help us understand how the site is used.

Payment and subscription data

Stripe is our payment processor. Payment details entered during checkout are handled by Stripe, not stored directly by HobbyTrack. We may store your subscription status or identifiers needed to show your plan access.

How data is used

We use your information to provide your account, sync your practice data, personalize your next steps, power coaching features, manage your plan, protect the service, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.

Service providers and international processing

HobbyTrack works with a small number of service providers to run the app: Supabase, which manages accounts and stores your data; Stripe, which processes payments; Cloudflare, which hosts our public pages and provides basic site analytics; and OpenAI, which may process some of your reflections or questions when generating AI guidance. These providers may process your information in countries other than your own.

Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service, support your account, maintain security, and meet legal or operational requirements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why we need it.

Account deletion

You can find out how to request account deletion on our Delete account page. Deletion requests may require identity verification, and some information may need to stay on file if a provider must retain it for legal or payment reasons.

Data export and portability

You can find out how to request a copy of your data on our Data export page. Full self-service export is not currently available for every part of your account.

Security

HobbyTrack uses account authentication, access controls, and other security measures from our service providers to help protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

Cookies and local storage

The app may store some information directly on your device — such as your sign-in state, app settings, and offline behavior — using your browser's local storage.

Age requirements

HobbyTrack is intended for people who are legally able to create and manage their own account where they live. It is not designed for use by children without appropriate permission or supervision. If you believe a child has provided personal information to HobbyTrack, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

User rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal information. Contact us to make a request.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as HobbyTrack changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we do.
